  1. It depends on the timing: Did wives-to-be always wore hijabs to get marriage certificates when the US government suddenly decide they do not have to? And was said Muslim female a county clerk before the US government ruling? And is the hijab actually a religious requirement for Muslims as stated in the Quran?

    If the answers to my questions are “yes” then yes, this mythical Muslim county clerk deserves her 1st Amendment rights protected and be allowed to work.
