We here at deepfriedbits.com generally stay out of government/religious debates, but we found this very interesting… your thoughts?

About Krisgo

I'm a mom, that has worn many different hats in this life; from scout leader, camp craft teacher, parents group president, colorguard coach, member of the community band, stay-at-home-mom to full time worker, I've done it all-- almost! I still love learning new things, especially creating and cooking. Most of all I love to laugh! Thanks for visiting - come back soon :)

  1. The real question is if this was said by a government, would it trigger some sort of ridiculous legislation?
For example, would you have to prove you could provide for your child’s future needs in order to get a license to breed?
Then who is going to dare put a figure on that?

  2. While she raises interesting points, it is an over-simplification to project attitudes onto people. I hear pro-lifers accuse pro-choicers of being selfish and irresponsible, which is another over-simplification. While everyone seems to like the idea of 50 shades of grey, there are many more shades of people.

I would counter our Benedictine Sister and ask, why would you argue for the death of an unborn child, but argue against the use of the contraceptive techniques which can render the abortion question moot?
