    No, My father did not have a bike, he had only newspaper shoes and walked uphill in the snow both ways with his little sister on his back, carrying their lunches in a bucket. Their lunch was 1 slice of bread each, no butter, just bread, sometimes at Christmas they could have an orange. LOL
