On a Serious Note….
On a personal note: A friend of mine, my high school bestie was verbally, emotionally and physically abused by her boyfriend and she ended up marrying the guy. She was already insecure when they met – and he latched on to that. Luckily, she was able to leave him – but she still has the emotional scars and very real physical scars from him.
