Scoot Graduates!
We did it! Both our kids are graduated from High School now. Woot woot!
Our ‘Scooter’ graduated the other night, he was in the top 20 of his class, NHS, VP of STUCO, and earned many other honors, one of our favorites being the John Philip Sousa award. It’s bittersweet for me especially – I was very, very involved in our district for many, many years (volunteering, coaching & substitute teaching). But I’m glad to move on to other things, and very much excited for his future. He plans to go to university here in MO in the fall.

In car texting
Found out the other day that my new car* has a feature that reads and displays incoming texts – Here’s the first one I got!
Back story, Faye was saving seats at a school concert, and was patiently waiting for me to arrive so she could go potty!
Too funny! Also she has no idea that I have a photo of this, OR that I’d post it for thousands** to see! LOL
*Apparently, I need to dust my car.
** Ok, so maybe hundreds.
