    Reminds me of my parents’ dog years ago that attacked and chewed a neighbour’s plastic gnome. She made such a fuss, Dad replaced it, and the damaged one was put on the curtain pelmet indoors. If ever the dog misbehaved (which wasn’t often actually), it was pointed at with the words ‘Who dunnit??’ The dog slinked into his bed and stayed there.
