New Look for DeepFriedBits
I had to change the theme for this blog… I did love the other one, but alas.. it wasn’t meant to be. It just didn’t work with some of the settings I was needing. I’m not 100% happy with this one (read: don’t be surprised if it’s changed again)… but I hope you all don’t mind it and keep coming back for more deepfriedbits humor 🙂

Forever Trombone
My son, who plays the trombone (and btw, is the self-proclaimed best marcher) in the band, is playing his solo and ensemble in districts this weekend – if he gets a ‘1’ score, he’ll get to take his ‘bone’ to state! Best wishes – and good luck, sir!

Alphabet found on butterfly’s wings
This pretty neat!
According to mymodernmet: Norwegian nature photographer Kjell Bloch Sandved has devoted his photographic career to capturing the beauty of the world we live in and along the way, amassed a collection of butterfly and moth images with interesting patterns on their wings. Sanved’s keen eye took notice of the spectacular shapes the natural designs came in, recognizing their resemblance to letters of the alphabet. As a result, he formed the Butterfly Alphabet. read more HERE
